Guest performance by BRAVO TOGA

1st-10th of September 2024

BRAVO TOGA presents an outdoor long-distance drama on roller skis, about the Finnish-Soviet Winter War of 1939-40. From a camouflaged party tent in Nacka Nature Reserve, we follow, with binoculars and headphones, the outcome as ski ballet meets roller skiing. With therapeutic and choreographic methods, the Winter War explores inherited war traumas, national mourning processes and post-memory.

To address our present rearmament (militairy defense build-up) period, we tune into a recent war history in the Nordic region. Join us for a headphone-based work and ski theater that highlights what the collective memory of war does to us.

The performance is suitable for ages 15 and up.
