FILIFJONKAN SOM TRODDE PÅ KATASTROFER
”Filifjonkan som trodde på katastrofer” är en visuell och fysisk föreställning som kan ses av hela familjen. Det är en vacker berättelse där två ovanliga gestalter, på ett poetiskt och humoristiskt sätt, berättar om en märklig Filifjonka som lever ensam på en avlägsen nordlig kust. Hon lever i ständig rädsla för katastrofer. Det enda andra levande väsendet i närheten är Gafsan, som inte är mindre egendomlig. De två är dömda att bli goda grannar, men Filifjonkans rädslor utgör ett stort hinder. Så tänk om det bästa sättet att bli fri från sin rädsla helt enkelt är att gå rakt igenom den?

Fillyjonk Who Believed in Disasters is a visual and physical performance for the whole family. It is a beautiful story in which two unusual characters, in a poetic and humorous way, tell the tale of a strange Fillyjonk who lives alone on a remote northern shore. She lives in constant fear of disasters. The only other living creature around is Gaphsa, who is no less strange. The two are destined to be neighbours, but the Fillyjonk’s fears become a major obstacle. What if the best way to free oneself from fear is simply to walk straight through it?

The production won the Ikar National Prize for Best Puppet Production in Bulgaria in March 2019.
Actresses Desislava Mincheva and Nedelina Roselinova were nominated for Best Acting at the Ikar National Awards 2019.
The production also won the three main prizes at the International Puppet Festival in Plovdiv (Bulgaria):
– Best Production (Main International Jury)
– Best Production (Children’s Jury)
– Best Bulgarian Production at the Festival
The performance has been presented in Bulgaria, Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, and Sweden (Barnens Scen, Malmö – twice).
The production is officially approved by Agency North Ltd, Karjalankatu 2 A, 00520 Helsinki, Finland, the official representative of Tove Jansson.
