Om män är från Mars och kvinnor från Venus, åh dessa statiska binära metaller järn och koppar, är det inte logiskt att vi är från Merkurius? Av Kvicksilver? Metallen som vägrar mallar? Metallen som formar sig i sin egen vilja? Metallen som är motståndskraft? Klart vi är! "...and trans people are from Mercury" är tidsresor och rymdfärder där orden och gemenskapen är farkosten. Genom dåtid och framtid, förbi det stela och bakåtsträvande (blä och usch!), till morgondagar och utopier. "...and trans people are from Mercury" är en spoken word-föreställning, som mer är uppkäftiga scifi-politiska drömmar, med och av spoken word-artisten och transaktivisten Yolanda Aurora Bohm Ramirez.

If men are from Mars and women from Venus, oh these static and binary metals iron and copper; are we not then from Mercury? Made from Quicksilver? Metal unshackled? Metal who is shaped by their will? Metal who is resilience? Of course we are! "... and trans people are from Mercury" is time travel and space trips using words and community as vessel. Through what has been and what will, past the stiff and the reactionary (yuck!), till tomorrows and utopias. "... and trans people are from Mercury" is a bitchy, scifi-political, dreamy spoken word-show by and with spoken word-artist and trans activist Yolanda Aurora Bohm Ramirez.
