Lamine Cissokho - Koraplayer
Det här evenemanget avslutades i september 2019.
Lamine Cissokho is from the Casamance region, in southern Senegal, and comes from a family of mandinka griots, whose traditions date back to the 14th century.
The kora is passed from father to son, so are its melodies and apprenticeship. He spent his childhood and teenage years crafting the instrument and learning how to master it, on and on again, under the supervision of his father, Sana Cissokho, a famous griot from Ziguinchor, and of his great-uncle, Lalo Keba Drame.
Living in Sweden since 2001, Lamine is a well-known part of the swedish world music scene, and has performed in concerts and festivals in over fifteen foreign countries
