Fredrik Quiñones verk Donde mis ojos te vean är en unisex dansduett som undersöker uttryck och rörelser fria från könsidentitet, ett verk som vrider på könsroller och vänder världen upp och ner. Donde mis ojos te vean (Där min ögon ser dig) är Fredrik Quiñones debut som koreograf. Han är mångsidigt utbildad vid Codarts-Rotterdam dance academy i Nederländerna och i Sverige vid Åsa Folkhögskolas One style program med inriktning House samt Balettakademiens dansarutbildning. Som dansare är han redan en etablerad profil i den svenska streetvärlden samt engagerad av koreografer och kompanier, nationellt och internationellt.
Som danskonstnär älskar jag frihet och att arbeta emot stereotyper. Inom house och modern dans hittar jag störst befrielse i uttryck och rörelse. Även voguing har gett mig ett fokus och ett sätt att ta plats.

Fredrik Quiñones’ work Donde mis ojos te vean is a unisex dance duet that examines expression and movement free from traditional views of sexual identity, twisting our understanding of gender roles upside down. The work has been formed based on the duo’s different life experiences and dance styles. Donde mis ojos te vean (Where My Eyes See You) is Fredrik Quiñones’ debut as choreographer. He has a wide-ranging education, including at Codarts University of the Arts Dance School in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and in Sweden as part of the Åsa Folkhögskola One Style programme focussing on House, as well as in the dance programme at Balettakademien in Stockholm. As a dancer, he has already established a profile in the Swedish street scene, as well as being engaged by contemporary choreographers and companies, both nationally and abroad.
As a dance artist, I love exploring freedom and actively rejecting stereotypes. House and modern dance give me the most freedom in terms of expression and movement, and voguing has also given me focus, a way to assume a space.
