#SWIMP18: Songs That You Can’t Get Out Of Your Head (workshop)
Songs That You Can’t Get Out Of Your Head
There's a difference between singing some words together with some music, and a *song*. A *song* is a self-contained, well structured object. Audiences feel at home when they hear it, like they've known it all their life. In "Songs That You Can't Get Out Of Your Head", we look at creating just that type of song. In this incredibly fun course, we'll look at:
* finding structure from organic starts
* working together as a group
* what makes a great chorus
* keeping a song focused
* playing with tension and resolution
No compensation is provided if you spend the rest of the day with a song stuck in your head.
